MEET YOUR FACILITATORS
CARRIE MACINNIS
Carrie has a Bachelor of Social Work from Dalhousie University and a Criminology/Sociology degree from Saint Mary’s University. She has experience with the criminal justice system and offering court and correctional support. She is a huge advocate for social justice and is passionate in the fields of mental health, suicide prevention and addiction. Carrie is a proud ASIST facilitator and is dedicated to helping create suicide safer communities.
LIZ WILSON
Liz has her Bachelor of Education from Mount Saint Vincent University and 20 years of teaching experience in a variety of settings from high school to pottery. She is a passionate advocate for access to education for marginalized populations and enjoys designing/delivering programs that are engaging for a range of learning styles and abilities. Liz loves how adaptable ASIST is to every unique suicide intervention.
